NETWORKING

RCA provides a stimulating environment for its members. We meet, share
professional and personal connections, and exchange information and
discussions on a diverse range of wireless topics. We participate in conferences
and programs, often with a featured speaker. We cut across corporate,
competitive, association, and academic lines, enjoying an intimate environment
to meet, discuss, and collaborate on fresh ideas and perspectives with a broad
and diverse group of members involved in wireless innovation.

RECOGNITION

RCA recognizes leaders in wireless innovation through our annual awards
program and other events. Awards are presented to both RCA members and
non-members for their significant contributions to the art and science of wireless
communications. Our awards are designed to provide a unique opportunity to
meet and interact with top industry leaders in an intimate setting.

RCA promotes the exchange of ideas across boundaries by providing a stimulating intellectual and social environment for
our members. We bring together the best in wireless; free from commercial constraints, academic and professional limitations, and industry or association politics. We are not an advocacy organization, although many of our members have created new wireless industries and regulations.

OUR MEMBERS: enjoy the art and science of wireless communication in a roundtable environment, growing through their personal interactions. They meet, connect, exchange ideas, gain insights and find lifetime friendships from the wide range of people and perspectives at RCA.
WE SEEK: professionals and non-professionals of the highest intellect who possess natural curiosity and insight; those who want to share ideas and to interact with others. We promote collaboration and the exchange of ideas, and we recognize our member’s accomplishments, which encompass many fields in wireless science, technology, business, government, and historiography.
WE SUMMON: inventors, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, government officials, military communications specialists, academics, scientists, and historians, whether they are trained professionals or self-taught successful amateurs; including student, young professionals and corporate members.
OUR HISTORY: Formed as the Radio Club of America in 1909, RCA has a been a beacon in the wireless industry for more than a century. It is the oldest wireless organization in the world, and our members were instrumental in creating wireless telegraphy, radio, television, cellular, microwave, and digital communications.
